IFF and the Standard of practice

Modified: 23 November 2024

Yochanan Rywerant was one of the founders of IFF
and for some years he was involved in the board.

His motive was to integrate the teachers he trained in Sweden during the years 1986 -1993 in an international context. The Swedish Feldenkrais Association was the organizing guild. It was for several years an associate member, and I attended as a delegate in 1998 and 1999. For a teacher who had an excellent basic education as introduction to acquire further competence, it was troubling to hear how TAB-educated teachers complained about inadequate teaching.

Yochanan Rywerant's competence and authorship has so far not made any impression on the organization.

The PDF is a correction work on the standard of practice I did at that time I was engaged in IFF  but it was unsuccessful in making any influence whatsoever. Years have passed, and I find some of the material still significant for my argument about the lack of theoretical grounding among representatives of the profession.

The author of the first edition is known, but i absolutely no one has reacted to the text. I have copied this text recently and I allow it to speak for itself. I suppose it is used in many guilds as well...

a pun with IFF

Two versions of an apparently similar text

Today Yochanan Rywerant's legacy is  non-existent in the IFF,
and thereby the lack of Classical Feldenkrais as well.

My wish is that it could be different for the future...
